Counselling for Individuals
Individual therapy offers a containing and confidential space to make sense of your feelings, thoughts, relationships, and the patterns that connect them.
You may begin to notice how past relationship experiences echo in the present — perhaps in the way you relate to others, respond to closeness or distance, or experience trust and connection.
Therapy can offer space to explore how these patterns developed, and whether they still serve you in the ways they once did.
Sessions centre on your story and the parts of your life that may need to be named, understood, grieved, celebrated, or re-imagined.
Sometimes revisiting the past can help make sense of what is happening now, creating more space for compassion, possibility, and satisfaction in your relationship with yourself and with others.
Sessions are offered on a one-to-one basis.
What Might This Work Include?
For some people, therapy may involve exploring patterns of attachment, difficulties feeling close to others, or a sense of always needing to protect themselves emotionally.
For others, it may involve understanding anxiety, low mood, overwhelm, self-esteem difficulties, relationship struggles, or ways of coping that no longer feel sustainable.
Together, we think not only about what you are feeling, but also why. We explore how emotions, behaviours, and relationship patterns may be connected to earlier experiences, expectations, family roles, or ways of surviving difficult situations.
Issues brought to therapy may include:
Anxiety
Depression and low mood
Stress and burnout
ADHD and Autism
Relationship and communication difficulties
Emotional overwhelm
Low self-esteem
Attachment and trust difficulties
Life transitions and identity
We might gently ask:
Are these patterns still serving you? And could there be space for a different story now?
Making Space for Change
Individual psychotherapy offers a space to reflect, explore, and make sense of patterns that may feel confusing, painful, or difficult to shift alone.
Together, we can think about how past experiences, attachment dynamics, family relationships, and wider cultural or relational stories may continue to shape the present.
This work is not only about insight. It is also about creating space for new responses, ones that feel more aligned with how you want to live, relate, and experience yourself now.

I offer individual therapy in Marylebone, London (W1), and Swanbourne, Buckinghamshire.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, attachment issues, and experiences that may feel difficult to make sense of alone.
In-person sessions are held in calm, private consulting spaces.
If you are curious about how therapy may support you, you are welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial fifteen- minute conversation.
